Introduction to KIISC

  The KIISC, Korea Institute of Information Security and Cryptology, was founded on December 1990 as a nonprofit organization. The institute's primary purpose is to contribute in the advancement in the field of information security by providing and presenting various innovative knowledge and technologies for diverse group of dedicated security specialists and students.

Objective
To fullfill its purpose, KIISC is guided by the following primitives : 1) Presentation of academic researches on information security
2) Academic and technological research studies as well as publication
3) Studies on standardization
4) Promotion and development of technology
5) Development of educational infrastructure for training specialists
  Because of tremendous supports from our members, the KIISC has truly developed into a remarkable institute now consisting over 2000 members and over 80 agencies and institutes. Also KIISC contains two sub branches and ten research conferences.
